Dream Team Racing (25/08/2013)

Another fantastic day for all dogs concerned. Our main racing team consisted of Jack, Fen, Delta and Harvey and they did exceptionally well. There were some really good starter teams out on Sunday and everyone concerned rose to the challenge and there was some seriously high adrenaline moments.  The team came away with one of the fastest times of the day – 20.97, the fastest being 20.75 from a Div 3 team

Sunday was Ellie’s first day out and she was an absolute little star. Still a bit unsure but has come on so well from the first day we had her in the group. She will be joining us in the next team on the 28th Sept as well.

Four Paws Racing – 1st Flyball Competition – 21/07/2013

Hi all,

just a quick update to let you all know how we got on yesterday at our first show.

We went to Imber Court for the day, got all of our dogs measured, four times they need doing, yawn!! Then prepared ourselves for the inevitable. I think to say we were a little bit frightened would probably be fair, but more than up for a day of racing. We watched some of the first division dogs (wow, seriously impressive) and maybe felt a little bit OMG!!

Anyway we were called to the ring and had no idea what we were doing, but the guys who were running the show, Terry and Tony, were absolutely fantastic. They helped us throughout the whole day and we managed to learn some really valuable lessons.

We managed to make it through the mornings sessions winning two out of our three races. Now that is impressive for our first attempt I feel. We then had a long break. Lesson learnt lets take some cards, music and books for next week guys.

Afternoon racing and we were definitely up for it. We came up against the strongest team and fell apart. Ok guys we are working on that! Bit of pressure, that’s what it is all about, no falling apart.

So all in all, a long day, but very successful and I am more than proud of everyone that came, took part and helped.

PS please can we have pom pom cheerleaders soon. THANKSSSSSS

Guys here is the website for the show. Some great photos.
